Its first national anti-smoking educational campaign the US government characterized as a huge success. Because films titled “Tips from former smokers”, issued for a period of three months in 2012-th year, from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, sent data that stopped smoking more than 200,000 people, writes Business Insider.

The films in the campaign depicting the brutal consequences of smoking that had former smokers who advise viewers to stop smoking before it’s too late. Already they working on new movies.

The center says that these films of 2012-th year, saved more than 300,000 years of life of all smokers together.
