Ingredients:

  • 300 g of pure honey.
  • flour or starch required amount.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • gauze
  • napkin or piece of clean cloth.
  • First aid tape.

Preparation:

Mix honey and olive oil to form a homogeneous mixture (if treatment is for an adult, you can add a pinch of mustard powder for best results).

Then add flour or starch (even around the preparation) so that it does not stick to your hands.

Straighten your napkin or cloth on a flat surface. With a wooden spatula spread throughout the honey mixture.

It covers the gauze pad.

Place the wrap honey to the chest or back, as needed, and the tape must be hypoallergenic. We recommend placing in the chest when there is a cold, congestion and cough; while back when you need to expectorate phlegm and clear the lungs.

Put on your pajamas.

CAUTION! Do not put the wrap directly on the heart, but rather to the side or above him.

Treatment:

As you may have noticed, you need to make this wrap honey just before going to sleep. Leave it for 3 hours if this treatment is performed on a child.  Moreover, when treatment is for an adult, it is advisable to leave it overnight.

You’ll notice that the middle of the night the body will start to sweat a lot and feel a slight internal heat. This effect is a process of detoxification of the body and helps reduce the inflammation. After the first night with the pad, the patient will feel almost immediate relief.

The next morning, remove the pad and take a hot bath to clean debris that was removed through sweat. Repeat the treatment for a few days to feel utter relief of symptoms.

To consider:

  • Do not apply this wrap of honey on irritated, bruised, skin rashes or burns.
  • People with allergies to honey can not carry out this treatment.
  • Recommended for children over 6 months of age.
